NetLibrary Upgrade: New Look & Improved Performance

On July 28th the library's subscription to NetLibrary, which gives access to the full text of thousands of books will be upgraded. This upgrade promises to provide a new look, improved performance, and powerful navigation tools.

Some of the improvements include:

Automatic Summarization
Spell Checking
Search within a Search
Concept Recommendations
Search History

Find Newest Books and Media Received by the Library

You can now locate some of the newest books and media that the library has received. The list of new books and media can be linked from the library online catalog from the library home page (http://www.cofc.edu/~library/).

From the library catalog search page, just click on the new books / media list link located in the box on the right side of the page. You will get a list of new items received in the last month for the following areas:

Browsing books

Marine Resources Library books

Media Collection titles

Reference Collection books

Special Collections items
